Building a community
What is the COMMUNITY Space?
To put it simply, it’s a donation based (or free) space within the yoga classes amelia offers.
This space is to enable access to someone who would otherwise not be able to afford a weekly yoga class. Community spaces are currently available on all Zoom classes as well as Tuesday evenings at the Town hall and Wednesday evenings in the Wyvern Club.
This is a space for someone who fulfils many of the following criteria:
Feel stress frequently about meeting basic needs for themselves and/or their family
Have very little income left over after meeting basic needs
May have unstable housing
Do not hold a job/are underemployed
May receive government assistance
Have no access to savings
Rarely buy new
Cannot afford a holiday
We trust that these spaces will only be taken by those that qualify. The space is free however if you would like to make a donation of what you can afford for each class you can do so via paypal paypal.me/ameliagraceyoga
To book into class and save your space simply use the code ‘COMMUNITYSPACE’ in the ‘redeem coupon or package’ box when booking your classes online.
Although Amelia will see you have used the code this will not be made known to anyone else, at any stage.

Make it stand out
In the name of Satya and Asteya (the yama/moral yoga guidelines of truthfulness and non stealing) this idea was not my own, I am following in the footsteps of our amazing local yoga studio Sow & Root.
They offer a similar space called the Karma space and have a great range of daytime and evening classes.
Find out about Sow and Root and their Karma space here.
