Heartfelt Intentions - An afternoon of yoga and intention setting
Will you start the new year with more clarity?
January is often a time where, with good intentions and a renewed sense of energy, we decide what we want to shift within ourselves or our circumstances. Although often with a one-size-fits-all approach and a few New Years Resolutions. Instead, this workshop will create a nurturing space for you to find your own inner compass so that you can make heartfelt intentions which are actionable, supportive and compassionate.
1pm - 5pm
Sunday 21st January 2024
New Body Barn, Lydeway, SN10 3PU
Hosted by Amelia and Lauren

We will open in a circle setting the scene for the afternoon with short guided meditation to fully come to the present.

With this sense of freshness Lauren will lead us through a workshop where we discover our personal values and our true intentions. By the end of this workshop we will have distilled down a broad perspective of our values and how they feel in our body, to a single word, phrase, intention or feeling to cultivate. This sense of clarity will be your north star to guide you through life in a heartfelt way.

Following this Amelia will guide us through a yoga class full of movement, flow and connection to ourselves. Then a closing practice of Yoga Nidra. This is a deeply restorative guided savasana where we will include our own "sankalpa" (Sanskrit word: heartfelt intention). If you think of the practices before as preparing the garden, planning what we want to grow, this is where we drop the seeds into the soil to grow equipped with the tools to keep this feeling and intention alive within us.
